  Always would go to the other home retail store. It is refreshing to find a store that cares about customer support. We went to this store for a number home renovations including redoing our floors. Recently we decided to go here for our kitchen renovation. The ordering of the kitchen cabinets was quite involved . The sales associate Mepla was quite knowledgeable and easy to deal with.Be prepared to spend at least 10-15 hours deciding on cabinets and accessories. The only negative was that it was not fully disclosed up front how long to expect the Reno to take and someone misjudged the Christmas break. We also as part of the kitchen Reno decided to upgrade our appliances. The delivery of the appliances and cabinets was very professional and both sets of delivery personnel were respectful and polite.The kitchen cabinet tear out and install

  It's a hardware store, nothing special. They always have what I need. Most times you have to press the HELP button to get a representative, otherwise you have to hunt for someone. Pretty much the same prices as Homedepot.

  Lowes had a deal on today where customers were offered an opportunity to scratch and save a minimum of $15 on a minimum $100 dollar purchase. I had forty items I was purchasing so I requested that the forty items be billed at 10 items per transaction. Each transaction would be more than the $100 minimum. I was asking for this so that I could save $15 minimum on each transaction. This definitely sent the store into a tizzy. So I offered to pay for ten items and pay the $101 and take the ten items out to my vehicle and then come back and purchase the next ten items. I was told that this would not be in the spirit of the promotion. Eventually a manager agreed to process four invoices for the forty items and allowed me to scratch four scratch cards. I appreciate that this situation was amicably resolved even though it took much longer than it should have. As a customer I should be given the option of breaking down my purchase into any reasonable size that suits my needs. There was nothing that I could find in the documentation associated with the promotion that said I was only allowed one transaction per day.

  I really like browsing at Lowe's. They have a good variety of products that you don't see at Home Depot or at Rona. Their lighting selection is pretty cool with a nice line of industrial looking lamps and fixtures. The staff is friendly and helpful and unlike Canadian tire, you can actually find one!
