  We left the branch, drove to Stittsville and got everything, and more in fact, completed at the front counter in under 25 minutes. My wife already had a profile created and it was one piece of paper and two signatures.

  Worst service ever at a Scotiabank institution. I've never been treated in such a way by a bank teller. She was inpatient and unapologetic. I felt I was treated like thief. I would NOT recommend this branch.

  We drove back to the branch and were greeted rudely again. The person at the teller desk walked us over to an advisor who said that she would do the paperwork and it would be processed on Monday. When I asked why it wouldn't be done today she said because they were closing soon. Well, it was 40 minutes to closing.

  They told us we needed to make an appointment to change a current account to a joint account and to call the Scotia number to do so. When we called the Scotia number they said that no appointment was necessary and it can all be done at the main counter.

  We went in on Saturday May 5th. The gentleman at the front counter greeted us as if we were an inconvenience. Both the man at the counter and Brenda did not care for our business.
