  When i pointed at the sign in the window that said 6pm this individual said he had not got around to changing the hours on the sign and shut the door in my face. I try to support local business when at all possible but i won't be giving my money to this store in the future

  I attempted to go there just prior to 5pm and got met at the door by a male staff member saying they were closed.

  We've dealt with Richmond home hardware for a long time. It's the best lumber yard, hardware store in the city. Great service and we definitely recommend them to anyone looking for help with there home repair projects

  I was there today just before 6:00 and was surprised to see so many staff still busy and willing to help. My return/exchange was painless for me. Although it required the younger sales person to look up a couple of things, he did so happily while the other sales person took me directly to what I wanted and carried it back to the cash for me. The selection is exceptional for a small store. I don't mind the few extra pennies on the occasional item as I would spend that in gas going to the next town.

  Great selection and friendly and helpful staff. If they don't have it in stock, they are ready to assist with delivery from the Home Hardware catalog. The only issue is hours of operation. They need to be longer. Especially in the summer. Otherwise, highly recommended.
